Gallery comes to Coda
I have just finished playing around with a Gallery2 and Drupal integration that is now live on http://coda.org.uk/gallery with some nice functions all packed it. The main ones are (but fairly standard),
- Commenting
- Rating
- Uploading (for Coda Staff)
- On site editing
- Mass Upload
- Auto resize
- Gallery Remote
- Watermarking with a customized design
and as a separate installation it only added a fraction of weight on to the Drupal footprint.
Coda Music
Coda Music Trust is a charity down in the south of England whom I have been assisting in there new online presence. They work in the fields of music therapy, lessons, community, groups and much more all music related and all and always for the benefit of people.
I have been working on this for around 2 months now and have tried to as best as I can to live up to the request of;
Connecting with the newer generation, generally make it usable.
What make me so determined to help?
Well as some of you might know I very much belive that there should be more charity in people and when I had a look at there old site it didn't even begin to show what an amazing place it really is. It was clunky, the urls were poor and form what I could gather the back end interface was next to nothing, I felt like there last site designer had really let the slandered slip here and for a charity communication and image are everything.
Coda Music Center receives no regular funding form any governing organization however through tuition and fundraising it has managed to grow and crate an invaluable resource for the community. However I am happy to say that I have helped and continue to help as the new site went live and was used in helping to communicate the participation with the ITV Peoples Millions which they won and will enable them to build a new Music Therapy rooms. .... read more »
